Description

The Asparagus densiflorus, commonly known as Foxtail Fern, is an eye-catching evergreen perennial appreciated for its fine, needle-like foliage and dense, upright, plume-shaped stems that resemble a fox’s tail. Native to South Africa, it thrives in subtropical and tropical climates and is perfect for both outdoor gardens and indoor containers. Its bright green leaves remain vibrant year-round, and it produces small white or pale pink flowers in summer, often followed by decorative red berries. The plant is drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal care. It is mildly toxic to pets but safe for humans and adds texture and elegance to shaded spaces.
