Description
The Leyland Cypress is a fast-growing evergreen conifer, valued for its tall, dense foliage that provides excellent privacy and wind protection. With a growth rate of up to 1 meter per year, it can reach heights of 15–20 meters in ideal conditions, although it can be kept smaller through pruning. Its dark green, scale-like leaves create a lush, uniform screen, making it perfect for hedges and windbreaks. It thrives in full sun, adapts well to different soil types, and tolerates drought once established. While it’s hardy and low-maintenance, it benefits from regular pruning and spacing to prevent pests and disease.
