Description

Gerbera is a vibrant herbaceous perennial, renowned for its striking, daisy-like flowers that brighten gardens and homes. Native to South Africa and parts of Asia and South America, it thrives in sunny environments with good drainage. In Cyprus’ Mediterranean climate, it performs well both outdoors and indoors, blooming from spring through fall. Its long-lasting blooms come in a spectrum of colors including red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. While moderately easy to care for, Gerbera requires regular watering and maintenance like deadheading to encourage continuous blooming. It’s non-toxic and makes an excellent choice for beds, borders, or container displays.
