Euphorbia pulcherrima, commonly known as Poinsettia, is a vibrant ornamental plant best known for its bright red, pink, or white bracts that appear during winter, especially around the holidays. Originally from Central America and Mexico, it thrives in warm climates and is typically grown indoors in Cyprus due to its subtropical preferences. Although often treated as an annual, it can survive for several years indoors with proper care. It prefers bright, indirect sunlight and moist, well-drained soil.
