Description
The Euonymus japonicus ‘Aureomarginatus’, commonly known as Golden Euonymus, is a striking evergreen shrub native to East Asia. Its glossy green leaves with golden-yellow margins make it a popular choice for brightening gardens and landscapes. Hardy and adaptable, it tolerates a wide range of temperatures, making it well-suited to Cyprus’ Mediterranean climate. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires only moderate care. It thrives in full to partial sunlight and can be shaped into hedges or grown as a standalone shrub. Small greenish-white flowers may appear in late spring or early summer, although the plant is primarily appreciated for its vibrant foliage.
