Description
Agapanthus praecox, also known as the African Lily, is a striking herbaceous perennial valued for its bold, strap-like foliage and beautiful clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers. Native to South Africa, it adapts well to Cyprus’ Mediterranean climate, making it ideal for borders, mass plantings, and container gardens. Its blooms appear in summer and range in color from blue and violet to white, standing tall above the foliage. This plant is easy to care for, with moderate water needs and minimal maintenance once established. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and grows best in well-draining, fertile soil.
