Selenicereus megalanthus, commonly known as Dragon Fruit Yellow or Yellow Pitaya, is an exotic climbing cactus valued for its bright yellow skin and exceptionally sweet, aromatic white flesh. Considered one of the sweetest dragon fruit varieties, it produces smaller fruits with a rich flavor and juicy texture. Its thick, fleshy green stems grow vigorously with support, while its large, fragrant white flowers bloom at night, adding striking ornamental appeal. Well suited to Cyprus’ warm climate, it thrives in sunny, sheltered locations and tolerates heat and dry conditions once established.
