Description
Agave attenuata, also known as the Foxtail Agave, is a striking succulent native to Mexico, prized for its rosette of smooth, spineless leaves that range in color from blue-green to silver-green. Unlike many other agaves, its soft arching leaves make it a safer and more ornamental choice for gardens and containers. It typically reaches heights of 3 to 5 feet and spreads up to 6 feet. While it rarely flowers, mature plants produce a tall, curved flower spike with yellow-green blooms. Drought-tolerant and relatively low maintenance, it thrives in warm, sunny locations, making it ideal for Mediterranean climates like Cyprus.
